Are you a talented Head Chef with a passion for Italian, Mediterranean and Meddle Eastern Cuisine? We are seeking a dedicated chef to join a prestigious private healthcare facility mid January 2025, crafting nutritious, gourmet meals that makes a difference in patients’ lives. Our client is a leading healthcare facility dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to our patients both the UK and USA.We believe that nutrition is vital part of recovery and overall well-being. Our onsite dining experience is an extension philosophy offering gourmet meals that cater to various dietary needs while ensuring a delightful culinary experience.

Position Overview:

As Head Chef, you’ll lead our kitchen team in creating seasonal menus that blend the vibrant flavours of Italy and the Mediterranean with tailored nutrition for our clients. This is a unique chance to make a positive impact, delivering exceptional, health-conscious dishes in a supportive and serene setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute seasonal menus focused on Italian, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern flavours.

  • Adapt recipes to meet specific dietary and nutritional needs, enhancing patients' recovery and well-being.

  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, budgeting, staff schedules, and daily due diligence reporting.

  • Implement cost control measures to optimize food and labor expenses.

  • Enforce robust food safety and food poisoning prevention procedures.

  • Oversee and maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.

  • Ensure accurate inventory management to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Qualification :

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, with strong background in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine

  • Previous experience as a private Head Chef and new openings is highly desirable

  • Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene and Level 2 Health and Safety

  • Exceptional culinary skills with emphasis on flavour, presentation and nutrition.

  • Strong leadership and management abilities

  • Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to create health conscious menu.

  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.

  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
